It’s the end of august and it’s targeted to hit 90+ today in ct, ma, ri, nh, even me… are you even thinking about heating oil?

Here’s the thing:

The U.S. Department of Energy projects residential heating oil prices will average $4.34 per gallon during this heating season (October though March), compared with $3.31 for the fall and winter of 2007-08, an increase of about 31 percent.

LIHEAP component offers crisis help, assisting in “emergency situations with primary heat security deposits, utility heating bills, repair/replacement of heating equipment, primary heating fuel or emergency shelter,” program literature said.
